Unlike the year 2003, marked by a very hot and droughty summer, the season of 2004 stood out for a great climatic balance: after plentyful rains in spring, we had a warm and windy summer, with fresh night breezes, which enabled a good temperature range between night and day. The grapes didn't suffer for water stress and before the harvesting they looked
rich and in a very good condition. The harvesting began the first days of September: sunny but fresh days allowed us to reap great grapes of Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Maceratino,Verdicchio, Merlot and Sangiovese. After a rainy end of September, which didn't cause big problems, we reaped wanderful grapes of Montepulciano and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The wines can be classified from very good to excellent, reflecting the perfect healthiness of the grapes harvested.
